As an Australian, it's shameful of me to admit I don't think I've ever watched an episode of Prisoner. However, on my first visit to Sweden, a sweet drunk Swede who looked like a porn director offered to take me home to meet his mother, all because she used to like watching Prisoner. Go figure.
