Blue Sky thinking

Oh, this is priceless! A piece of jaw-droppingly compelling TV from earlier this evening featuring a colourful exchange between infamous New Labour attack dog Alistair Campbell and Sky News political correspondent Adam Boulton, over who exactly should govern the country in the wake of last week's no-result election.

Basically, Campbell winds up Bolton about his supposed political leanings in response to which the Murdoch man loses his cool completely and ends up throwing his toys out of the pram in much the same way Colin Montgomerie might after shooting 85 in the final round of the Masters. He's as mad as hell and he's not going to take it any more.

I've never really liked Campbell but I kind of love him for this!

I was not a fan of Campbell's before but that was sheer brilliance.

Now if that had been Paxman or a Dimbleby. Sky would be asking for their head.

Boulton is such a twat a couple more minutes and he would have been throwing a punch.

That is beautiful. I've been so pissed off at Sky commentators basically interviewing each other for the last few days and coming to the conclusion that it's all over for Labour.

Campbell is formidable - he was on This Week a while back and you could see that the usually smug bastards were all on edge.

This is great. Thanks for sticking it on Kips. I was watching Channel 4 News and noted Campbell putting it about a bit.

Pompous overfed Boulton was squaring up like a man who'd been down the pub and not had enough sleep. Surely he needs some 'gardening leave' after that?

Unsavoury and unprofessional. Good TV eh.

word veri - arswinse!!

I've been enjoying all the Sack Kay Burley, Sky News Is Shit so much this week too: what a delight.

Won't allow a Murdoch box into my house, so very rarely get to see Sky News.

Maybe the tide is turning against Murdoch, we can but hope.

Thanks for the comments, everyone. Davy, I'd not seen that Kay Burley clip before. Hilarious!
